CONTEXT / OBJECTIVES:
This furniture piece “Space Shelves”, part of “The waste is the best” collection (“rejects are treasures”), is made from laminated plywood leftover from the fabrication of skateboards. This “Space Shelves” range was created by the designer Gil Le Bon de Lapointe and overseen by Pierre Andre Senizergue, Sole Technology CEO. It is one of several innovative ideas created by DCA and is used in the best POS of the Sole Technology Company. DCA won the 2010 Gold Popai in the “Eco-conception” category. This furniture collection was on show in the famous Parisian boutique COLETTE as well as top design venues and Contemporary Art Galleries.
